Angela serves as a Director on the AMDRAS Board, contributing her expertise to both our Member Engagement and Complaints Committee, and our Promotion and Marketing Committee. She is a highly qualified and accredited professional, holding credentials as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Nationally Accredited Mediator, and Parenting Coordinator. Angela brings extensive experience in family law, dispute resolution, structured parenting arrangements, and the complexities of neurodivergent family dynamics.

Angela is a recognised specialist in working with neurodiverse families, leveraging her deep understanding of neurodevelopmental and behavioural conditions to create unique and sustainable co-parenting solutions. She also offers expertise in navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and has a distinguished background as a senior Human Resources and People & Capability Manager, with experience spanning various industries both in Australia and internationally.

Her academic qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution, a Postgraduate Certificate in Autism Studies, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Human Resources). Angela is also a certified coach with New Ways for Families and an active member of professional organisations such as AIFLAM, the Resolution Institute, and the Mediation Institute.

Angela has dedicated many years to working with multicultural and neurodivergent individuals, including both children and adults. She is adept at addressing the complexities that arise from shifts in family dynamics, offering tailored, legally compliant strategies that meet the specific needs of families and individuals.

As a mentor to postgraduate students in Family Dispute Resolution and a qualified Trainer & Assessor, Angela is committed to fostering the next generation of dispute resolution professionals.
Angela’s professional journey includes significant experience in the mining and resources sector, where she gained unique insights into the challenges faced by FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) families during relationship transitions. This experience further informs her ability to address the nuanced challenges of family and workplace disputes.

With a focus on resolving interpersonal conflict constructively, Angela’s expertise extends beyond family disputes to include relationship, property, bullying, harassment, neighbour, elderly care, and estate disputes. Her holistic and empathetic approach ensures that both families and organisations can achieve sustainable resolutions tailored to their unique circumstances.
